That after 20 years, Nintendo has kept remaking the same archaic concept with minor additions and just upgrading the graphics, and the gullible masses keep buying this stuff, is buffling to me. On Gameboy the 1st generation was a success mostly because of the fun concept of monster catching and the anime, as a game even back then it was nothing special, little more than a fad. ![]() You have to understand that this kind of gameplay was acceptable back in the 80s and early 90s on the NES and SNES consoles, but gaming has advanced a lot since then. Pokemon games have stayed relatively the same gameplay wise after 20 years, with minor insignificant additions that don't fundamentally change anything.
